I have been doing a volunteer program with a friend, mostly assists. The assists have been handling a chronic back problem, something she has been unable to handle with medical treatment. She says she feels better than she has in years, but then a few weeks ago she told me about an ongoing situation that she couldn't get her attention off of. Her daughter was no longer speaking to her, in fact the daughter recently had a baby (my friend's first grandchild) but didn't even call her to tell her the baby was born, and wouldn't return her phone calls. As you can imagine, this was very upsetting to my friend, especially since she felt there was nothing she could do about it.

Together we read the Cause of Suppression chapter from the Scientology Handbook, she got a glimmer of hope. We laid out a simple plan to take care of this situation, and over the next week she did the first few steps. Around that time, her daughter called and asked her to please come over. They had a good long cry with lots of hugging and cooing over the baby.

My friend is beside herself with happiness. She and her daughter talk every day now. This problem has been messing up her life on and off for years, and now she has completely handled it. Now she's reading the Scientology Handbook from cover to cover so she can find out what other things she can apply to herself and her family.
